KKM's TII Macro's

For use in ichat with the add on program TypeItIn.

Typeitin is a program that allows users to create their own macros,
shortcuts or buttons for fun or serious use.

In iChat, many of our users have found this program to be helpful in creating fun to use macros,
much like those that have been used in past chat programs.

Instructions: Download and install Typeitin. We suggest downloading the professional version.
After the 30 day trial period, you are ask to register the program.
Once the program is downloaded and installed,
it should be listed in your Programs list from your Start Menu.
Below are the steps to creating a simple macro.

1)Click on TypeItIn program. A small box will appear with the word Default in the window.
2) By right clicking in the Default area, you will be given several options.
Select New Group from these choices. Give your group the name FUN.
Now the word FUN should appear where the word Default once appeared.
3) Right click in the area where you see the Undo button and choose New Button.
In the Button Name: box type HI.
The Button Hint line is a place to give a short description of what this button contains.
The Color button allows you to color code your buttons.
The drop down box below the Color button allows you to set up certain
perimeters such as {enter} which will automatically make your text go to the screen.
In the Text to be typed: box, type ((((( HI ))))){enter}
Click the Done button at the bottom of the box to save your work.
4) Now you should see a button under the Undo button that says Hi.
Put your cursor in the line where you normally type, click there.
Now go to the button labeled "Hi" and click that button.
Your message should automatically go to the chat screen.
5) To edit or make changes to your created button,
simply right click over that button and choose Edit Button.
6) If you prefer not to have your text go directly to the screen,
omit the {enter} command in your macro.
To give your text Bold or Italics,
use a 'b' inside <> for bold, a 'u' inside <> for underline,
and an 'i' inside <> for italics.
You can also add sounds to your macros
by following your text with the command <snd=wavname>
EX: <b>Hi <snd=Howdy>
